To clean the end face of connectors already installed on patch panels and hardware devices, insert the stick into the adapter or bulkhead receptacle, bring the tip into contact with the end face of the connector, twist once, then pull the stick out and discard. You should never reuse a stick.

The Stick Connector Cleaner uses a dry, alcohol-free cloth, its stick shape makes it an excellent tool for cleaning the end face of the connector ferrule located in difficult spots inside adapters. One piece of stick-type cleaner can be used for four wipes for equipment building and one wipe for maintenance purposes. Two models serve almost all types of connectors.
